Group lessons A1 – A2
At PITTIG Nederlands, you are taught in a small group and at your own level. You can join the A1 course (beginners), the A2 course (basics) and the Praat Nederlands course.
A1 and A2 course
You get a textbook. You do homework in the textbook and online. In class, there will be explanations, you can ask questions and you will practice a lot with the other students. There is a maximum of 8 students in these courses. Classes are on Saturdays and last 1.5 hours.
The next course starts on 10 May 2025 and lasts 10 weeks (until 12 July 2025).
Location: Medemblik Library.

Praat Nederlands course
Do you mainly want to speak or learn it first? Then choose the ‘Praat Nederlands’ course: no books, no homework and no grammar! The teacher speaks Dutch and makes sure you understand everything. You listen, understand, read and talk! That’s learning with ease and fun. There is a maximum of 10 students in this course.
Location: Medemblik Library.
For the A1/A2 course of 10 lessons you pay € 325, including course materials.
For the ‘Praat Nederlands’ course of 10 lessons you pay € 120.

Summer course 2025.
With this summer course, you will quickly and enjoyably learn the basics of Dutch. During the lessons, you will engage in a lot of reading, speaking, and collaborating with other students. We use games, short videos, and fun online tools in class. By the end of the course, you will have learned many Dutch words, be able to talk about yourself in Dutch, and have short conversations. You will also feel much more confident speaking Dutch with others.
The summer course is for beginners. You can join if you don’t speak Dutch yet or just a little. Lessons take place from Monday to Friday in small groups (4 to 8 students). There are two options: the morning course from 8:00 – 10:00 or the evening course from 18:30 – 20:30. In addition to the lessons, you will spend about 1 hour a day doing homework and exercises.
The cost of the summer course 2025 is €499,-
